Thoughts on Inauguration Day

Prayer leads us into a new phase,
Though the process may be a guise,
At least it brings hope.
A country
On the verge
Of change.
It's been a while since
We've felt this way.
The United States will suffer, yes,
But we will break barriers
Because of the hope
filling
OUR
heart.
